About the Resources Committee
The Resources Committee covers matters relating to site, premises and environment and all matters referring to financial and budgetary issues including:
- Financial probity – including audit, pecuniary interests, budget setting and monitoring, evaluation of spending decisions, value for money, lettings and income generation
- Best value and monitoring in relation to school premises – including grounds maintenance, catering provision, buildings maintenance and contracts
- Monitoring areas of the School Improvement Plan and School Self – Evaluation document that fall within the Committee’s remit
- Reviewing and monitoring relevant policies, procedural information and training – including health and safety documents and the school’s training programme for teachers and support staff.
